LA FRA Scholarship Program
Scholarship Sponsored by Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association
Applicant must be the child or grandchild of a Naval, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard service member, active Fleet Reserve, Fleet Marine Corps Reserve, or Coast Guard Reserve, who is retired with pay or deceased.
LA FRA Education Foundation makes scholarship applications available from 1 September thru 15 April each year for the following school year.
Scholarship deadline:
APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS POSTMARKED LATER THAN 15 APRIL will not be considered. All applicants are considered for any scholarship the LA FRA is able to offer during a specific year, provided the applicant meets the eligibility requirement for the award (based on the desires of the donor). Scholarship recipients are notified in writing and by telephone. FRA only notifies the applicants who have been selected to receive a scholarship.
Recipient must
1) Be a U.S. Citizen
2) Be attending a college, full time, located in the United States, and
3) Not have received or will not be receiving scholarships, awards or grants that fully pay tuition for the fall college semester
