Baldwin Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by California Scottish Rite Foundation
Over the past three decades the California Scottish Rite Foundation has awarded in excess of $6 million in scholarship aid to more than 2,800 qualified students, helping them pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees. The Foundation prioritizes education and funds study across a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, foreign service, forestry, medicine, public school administration, public service, and speech‑language pathology. Scholarship programs The Foundation awards scholarships to students attending fully accredited colleges and universities anywhere in the United States. These awards are distributed through several principal scholarship funds, most notably the Baldwin Scholarship, the Harry Lister Scholarship, the Ruppert Scholarship, and the William F. Stovall Scholarship. Eligibility requirements - Applicants must be residents of California. - A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required. - Candidates must intend to enroll full‑time as defined by their school and program. In addition to these baseline requirements, each individual scholarship fund may impose further, specific criteria. Focused awards Both the William F. Stovall Scholarship and the Baldwin Scholarship are intended for students working toward Master’s or Doctoral degrees in public‑service related fields, such as public‑school administration, speech‑language pathology, public administration, special education, and similar areas.
