Eligibility for the $2,000 Sallie Mae Scholarship
This award is available only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or any U.S. Territory who are age 17 or older at the time of entry and who, at the time of entry, satisfy one (1) of the following four (4) eligibility criteria:
1. A parent with a child currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States.
2. A student presently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States.
3. A parent whose child is currently a high school senior in the United States.
4. A student who is currently a high school junior or senior and plans to enroll in an accredited U.S. college or university within one year of graduating high school.
