Every Student Succeeding Program
Scholarship Sponsored by Association of California School Administrators
This award is designed to recognize students across all educational levels, from pre-K to adult education, who have triumphed in the face of adversity, exceeded expectations, or deeply touched the hearts of the educators and administrators who have guided them towards their objectives. A student from each region will be celebrated for their achievements.
Who Can Be Nominated? The ideal candidates for nomination are students who have shown exceptional determination to succeed, overcoming challenges such as:
- Resuming their education
- Exiting a gang
- Enhancing their school attendance
- Transforming their attitude
- Surmounting physical and mental hurdles
Additionally, nominees should be involved in:
- Extracurricular activities
- Volunteer work in the community
- Resolving student conflicts
- Tutoring peers or younger students
- Mediating between peers
- Providing peer tutoring
Nominees may be part of programs such as:
- Alternative Education
- At-risk
- Bilingual
- Continuation School
How to Nominate. Nominations should be sent directly to the nominee's region. Each region will choose one student to honor at various regional events throughout the year.
- Nomination forms can be found on the ACSA website at www.acsa.org/awards under the Nomination Forms tab.
- Students will be celebrated at the ACSA Leadership Summit in November, as well as at different regional events.
- Deadline. Please reach out to your regional leadership to find out the deadline for your region.
- The deadline for regions to submit recipient information to the state ACSA is March 3, 2025.
