Amador-El Dorado-Sacramento Cattle Women & Cattlemen's Scholarships

Amador-El Dorado-Sacramento County Cattle Women & Cattlemen will offer $6,000, and the Amador- El Dorado- Sacramento County Cattlemen will offer $4,000 in scholarship funds (to be apportioned by the scholarship committee) within our three counties. By offering these scholarships the Cattle Women & Catttlemen hope to be able to further the education of future leaders in the beef industry.
Scholarship Requirements
A) Applicant must complete the specific scholarship application provided by AES Cattlewomen.
B) The student must be a graduating senior of an Amador, El Dorado or Sacramento County high school.
C) The applicant's current grade point average must be a minimum of 2.5 to be considered.
D) Applicant should be interested in pursuing a career associated with agriculture, education, etc. in the beef industry.
E) The applicant may be required to attend a personal interview.
F) Applicant should submit one letter of recommendation from a FFA leader, a 4-H leader, or from any Ag-related person who can address applicant's involvement with the beef industry (optional).
G) The applicant must write an essay of 100 words or less describing their vision for the future of the Beef Cattle industry.
